Making my way through some Berserker Day arrivals.
Maitre de Chai is 2 for 2:

  • 2021 Maître de Chai Chenin Blanc Sparkling Wine Wilson Vineyard - USA, California, Central Valley, Clarksburg (2/15/2023)
    Popped and poured. Pale gold in the glass. Getting a mix of citrus and baked/toasted notes, same on the palate. On night two this sharpened for me into baked pear and toasted spice. A not complicated, very drinkable, fun wine.

Haven’t tried my Maitre de Chai wines yet but @Jorge_Henriquez was impressed with the cab enough to reach out and let me know.

There’s a good chance these will now be at Falltacular so I will be targeting them!
