  • 2021 Liquid Farm Mourvèdre Rosé Vogelzang Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara (3/10/2022)
    BD purchase, popped and poured. I usually temper my expectations when it comes to Rose, but man this is tasty, and strikes me as a formidable wine to boot. A pale pink color in the glass. Pretty floral aroma, maybe a hint of petrol, and then strawberry as things open up. Mouth coating acid, some viscosity, and just a nice balance between fruit and minerality. This is terrific stuff.

Tough to argue with good Mourvedre rose.
