- 2021 Durant Vineyards Pinot Noir Bishop - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Dundee Hills (5/1/2026)
My first go with the hometown producer. Starts off with a wisp of oak, but pretty quickly settles in and plays nicely with some pretty dang tasty black currant fruit. By the second glass, the fruit was more red currant with the acidity and freshness really starting to strut, crackles with energy, some savory notes on the finish. This was a gift and I’m really glad to try it as I don’t think I would have purchased this myself, and should age just fine over the next ten years give or take. (93 points)
