TN: 2021 Bedrock Wine Co. Riesling Wirz Vineyard

  • 2021 Bedrock Wine Co. Riesling Wirz Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Cienega Valley (11/13/2022)
Grilled lemon and Timothy grass. Hint of plastic pool toy. There's a sense of dissolved nitrogen or effervescence dancing ever-so subtly on the tongue, which makes it feel alive. Everyone in the world would classify this as bone dry, but to me this is just barely dry, teetering on the edge of off-dry. But I'm cool with that. Yeah, it's a wonderful wine. Wirz is always nice, no matter the producer. Good job! (92 points)

I didn’t get the sense that it was not bone dry, bordering into off-dry. If it had a much higher acidity, it might then seem to be bone dry, perhaps.
The Wirz Riesling consistently delivers the Riesling goods, as does Cole Ranch & McFadden Ranch.
