NOSE: dark red berries, with slightly smoky/savory underpinnings.
BODY: dark ruby color; medium-light to medium bodied.
TASTE: juicy red fruits — this speaks of Grenache; hint of smoky/savory carries from the Nose on to the palate; savory strawberry, and a touch leafy; 14.0% alc. well-hidden; medium concentration of fruit; light tannins and medium acidity; Drink Now and over the near term. I liked this well enough, but it was nearly $50 after club discount, and I can’t honestly say I liked it any more than I would numerous CdRs at [less than] half the price.
