- 2019 Wittmann Westhofener Kirchspiel Riesling Großes Gewächs - Germany, Rheinhessen (8/14/2025)
A complex nose of smoky minerals, custard apple, citrus blossom and lime brulee. Great volume, richness and power. Thick and pulpy yet light on its feet. Excellent mineral tension and cut and a huge squeeze of grapefruit on the long finish.

Thanks for the note Jeremy! I love Wittmann, how was the sweetness on the palate? I tend to give these a good shake when opening young as I feel it often hides the sweet thickness on the palate (which very often comes from only 3-5g residual sugar)
Thanks Kristof. Felt like it was close to bone dry but certainly a thickness to the feel in the mouth.
