2019 Orr Wines Grenache - USA, Washington, Columbia Valley (7/4/2023)
Its July 4th, a long day, and this was an ad hoc nice add on to earlier bottles; drank this over 3 hours ending the night with other bottles but kept track. Dark garnet in color, swirls heavy, pretty weighty nose. Nose starts bright, red fruit forward, vanilla, then steers to a bit more stewed over time surprisingly. Front is all the bright cherry mixed raspberry over time, acid forward; all compliments up front through the middle and then provides a lush back drop for a delightful finish. I wish I had another bottle looming. Enjoyed this.
