    I normally prefer wines young and with tension, but here one needs to be patient (which is often the case with the more red blooded varieties). After being open for awhile you can tell it wants to lead you up a beautiful garden path, but it’s still just at the gate. I’d say this needs another 5 years at least to get to its best self. Still, the potential is obvious. (92 pts.)
