2018 Talley Vineyards Grenache Rincon Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Arroyo Grande Valley (4/21/2023)
Didn't know Talley made a Grenache...it's flat out GORGEOUS! Engaging and expressive...the fruit is SO bright with sunshine...fresh crushed raspberry/cherry/strawberry...yet there is a deepness of complexity here. Killer dryness of red licorice, rhubarb, salted cherries...wonderful balance in this...crushed minerality salinity, potpourri of dried florals and white pepper, exotic spices...smooth silky Pinot-ish tannins...finishes spicy and seamless with wafts of exoticisms...this is SO fantistic...I am in awe! And I've had two bottles of it, so no fluke. (95 points)
