Delicious and interesting wine. Buying for a few vintages, just opened first bottle, figured i should since release is this week. Nice, dark core of fruit with good energy, with the whole thing wrapped in underbrush and sweet dried herbs. In a good way for me. Maybe from stems and maybe from climate, or both, or other more mysterious forces, not sure. Plenty of structure but juicy and bright enough to enjoy easily with that fruit in the center. Very glad I have more.

Love this wine. A top Cabernet for me. Will def be loading up on some today. Haven’t opened anything 2018 or younger, but the 2017 is drinking fantastic.
Thanks for the update. Been buying John’s Cabernet since his first one in 2012. The latest release of Waterhorse Ridge was my single choice (retirement pullback related) this release.
