Searched and didn’t see a note on this one, so here goes- Probably my best recent UM experience. I don’t buy anymore-hopped off the hype train after some mixed experience. But this one was quite nice! Cheers.

2017 Ultramarine Blanc de Noirs Heintz Vineyard Sonoma Coast - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (6/19/2023)
Opened and let warm a bit. Golden hue. Bubbles dissipate in quick order. Palate is slightly oxidative- rich-slightly nutty- Ripe orchard fruit- some tart apple-crisp- finishes with a Saline note. An umami note that had me coming back for more. I liked it.
