2017 Pierre Morey Bourgogne Blanc - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne Blanc (2/3/2026)
AOC? Ha! Just like the 14's...this one is gorgeously punching above its pay grade! Little softer, and less cut than the 14...has the wonderful crystalline orchard fruits...creamy and pretty expansive for its level...citrus tingle, crushed limestone, my fav...dry extract...really calm on entry and palate, but races with spice and florals on the finish...some aged white mushroom, dried honey, reminds you of some age...but no pox in sight...a mini Meursault if there ever was one...LOVE what he does with these BB's!
