TN: 2017 Lingua Franca Chardonnay AVNI (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Dundee Hills)

Continuing to explore Oregon Chardonnay (I likey!), found some LF locally and grabbed a few.

Vibrant light yellow. Slight hints of reduction in the back ground. There is white fruit, peach and citrus notes. Good balance of a round, savory- creamy note alongside a minerality with edgy energy. Finishes with a touch of buttery popcorn. There’s a bitter, drying note at the end that detracts a bit. Needs a little time to unwind, but rather open and enjoyable right now. Very nice for entry level.

Thanks for the note. I already have too many Oregon Chardonnay producers I enjoy, but their Bunker Hill bottling is outstanding.

Good to know. One of the wines I picked with this purchase today is the 16 Bunker Hill…a good number of positive comments here [cheers.gif]

bunker hill definitely makes some of my favorite chardonnay in Oregon.
