Quick little note here. Thought this was very good, and will benefit from more bottle age.

2017 Ladd Cellars Chardonnay - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (8/23/2021)
– popped and poured –
– tasted non-blind –

NOSE: moderately rich; slightly buttery and a bit “green”; faint lemon; a touch smoky/reductive.

BODY: medium pale yellow color; medium bodied.

TASTE: moderately rich Chard. fruit; good amount of mineral mixed-in; 13.9% alc. not noticeable.

this wine is great and will be “more great”.

problem is I drank all mine already, could not keep my hands off of them

I liked it, but I love the 2017 Cuvee Voile, which is truly special.
