TN: 2016 PYCM C-M Caillerets 2019 Tremblay Bourgogne Cote d

2016 PYCM C-M Les Caillerets - Certainly more on the reductive style - tight, compact, beautiful flint quality on the attack.

That being said, on first opening the wine had a pleasant round lemon curd quality on the midpalate. With time, white flowers, fresh apple. and a smoky quality appeared, in succession - as well as bitterness on the finish. Has time but in a good place.

2019 Tremblay Bourgogne Côte d’Or - On first opening, a magnificent black cherry aroma and taste, but a bit thin on the midpalate. With time the mid pallet flushes out and a wide array of spices appears on the nose. As the evolution proceeds a candied fruit quality appears. Not GC quality, but indicative of masterful winemaking - an hour after opening a beautiful pair of spice, violets, find mid pallet grip an sweet red fruit appear on the finish. Loveld
