2016 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru (4/16/2024)
Struck match and toasty reduction. Rich white peach fruit that is still tucked in tight. Some spice, almond butter and loads of chalky extract. Still very youthful, but very tasty.

Years ago, I had some PM Garenne from his father. So, maybe he got some vines from there.

40ish whites, although he buys in a decent amount of grapes and the lineup varies year to year. I read that his plan going forward is to just make wines from his own vineyards so the number of unique wines each year should drop.
