TN: 2016 Domaine Ramonet Bouzeron

My first Ramonet.

“Just” Aligoté, but so much flinty, smoky, crystalline quality here. It’s austere and maybe even a little unfriendly at first, but this wine eventually lures you in with sharp citrus, wet stone, and brilliant acid. Like a ballerina - icy, lean, and the product of a whole lot of talent behind the scenes.

It may be "just"Aligote, but if it’s good enough for Villaine, Roulot, Chevillon, Jobard, Ramonet, and many others, it’s good enough for me.
