2016 Artem Gewürztraminer - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Yamhill-Carlton (4/12/2018)
Slightly pale golden hue in the glass, nice legs showing some weight. The nose is beautiful, perfumed lychee, magnolia, just loving the florals. The palate follows with a soft lychee kissed with some citrus and hints of apricot. Medium(+) mouthfeel, medium(-) acidity and a solid finish. A very enjoyable Gewurz, great QPR, might need to look into a few more of these. Drank over 2 days and held together great, citrus notes were more developed on the day 2 versus the laser beam of lychee from day 1. (91 pts.)
