14.7% abv. From vines planted in 1937. Dark ruby, expressive aromatics. On the palate, black cherry, anise and white pepper, with red and blue fruit highlights. Impeccable balance, wonderfully deep and rich. Should remain great for years, but why wait. Zinfandel (or red wine for that matter), doesn't get much better than this. (96 points)
