2015 La Massa Carla VI Parcel 6
This supertuscan is 100% Sangiovese from a 1.5 hectare vineyard planted in 1999. From the excellent 2015 vintage in Tuscany. Not decanted. Paired with gnocchi in a light Marzano tomato sauce. Garnet color. Violet and earthy aromas. A fuller bodied wine with leather, dried cherry and chocolate notes. A really well put together wine. 94 points.
