TN: 2015 Domaine Bertheau (Pierre et François) Chambolle-Musigny

  • 2015 Domaine Bertheau (Pierre et François) Chambolle-Musigny - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny (10/18/2017)
This starts out with an almost cranberry type note. The nose is youthful pinot. The palate is pretty full. Like Fuees in many ways. Very bold with darker red fruit but plenty of what Jasper Morris calls “juicy” fruit. With some air the texture is silky. Chambolle! The finish is satisfying but not extremely long. Not a profound wine but should develop nicely. Well worth the tarriff.

Thanks for the note, Don! Sounds like a winner in '15.

Bertheau is a winner in just about every vintage. Quintessential Chambolle.

Very nice, Don, sounds very enjoyable

Haere Ra,
