TN: 2015 Arnot-Roberts North Coast Trousseau

Served blindly. My first guess was a pelaverga, because of its pale strawberry hue and its floral and strawberry nose. In the mouth, this was light, delicate and completely feminine, but flavorful. Ripe fruit but sort of weightless. 11.8%

Who says a very light wine can’t be packed with flavor? This was a complete pleasure. Bravo to Arnot-Roberts! 86+ -ish.

They do a very good job with the grape.

Your note gives me a very good insight as to your scoring methodology, which had been a bit of a mystery to me.

Think Parker’s scale circa 1985.
