2014 Ultramarine Blanc de Noirs Heintz Vineyard Sonoma Coast - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (12/3/2024)
Ok...10yrs is amazing on this wine! So rich and creamy with golden delicious apples and sour apricot fruits...perfect level of oxidative "Krug-ness"...gorgeous bread dough sprinkled with salt flakes...plenty of energized lemon tart prickle...mousse is ample and caressing with plush marsala and ginger...red apple skin tannins give good structure...another Cedric Bouchard imposter if there ever was one! No dos. I am NOT aging my UM long enough! Wow wine! (95 points)

Great note, Brian! I totally agree with you that these are being consumed way too young. I’m an offender as well. I finally had to bury a bunch at my offsite so I could keep my hands off of them. The few I’ve had with a handful of years on them were incredible.
