2014 Ponzi Vineyards Pinot Gris - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (6/7/2015)
Very light straw color with mineral citrus nose. Dry, tart mineral, citrus, kiwi, some rhubarb and gooseberry. Lovely tart fruit with medium body, good balance and drinking very nicely. Super clean on the finish with a light mineral note to enhance the acid profile. (91 pts.)

Ponzi is making some beautiful wines! Their Arneis is one of my favorite Oregon white wines.

I am having a glass of the 2014 Ponzi Classico pinot, left over from making a stew. I actually find it a touch thin, tart. Also some herbal notes here. I should just stick to my safe space of RRV.
