2014 Delamotte Champagne Blanc de Blancs Millésimé - France, Champagne (8/1/2025)
Almost done with a case, and haven't been compelled to write a note...until now! This wine is singing! Still quite youthful exuberance...crisp and popping with lemon tarts and ginger snaps...yet there is an almond creme that is calming it down, showing a wonderful airy ginger mousse...lazerbeam precision...just ROCKIN the rocks here...salty minerals, chalky crushed rocks, smokey lees...and white flowers to add in some elegance. Beaming with brightness...everything seems to be in perfect harmony right now...with plenty freshness for the future. A case was not enough! (95 points)

Thanks for the enablement! Just snagged one at auction today.

I’m a big fan of vintage Delamotte BdB, but not yet had the 14.

Had the 2014 Delamotte a couple of years ago at one of our wine dinners. I brought a bottle of the excellent 2012 and a friend brought the 2014. The 2014 was the better wine. It was fabulous. Thanks for posting.
