2013 Sine Qua Non Grenache Jusqu’à l’os Eleven Confessions Vineyard

Decanted 3 hours before dinner. No sediment. The first of my 3 bottles. Opened on our anniversary at an Italian restaurant. 79% Grenache, 18% Syrah and 3% Petite Sirah. 89% whole cluster. Decanted 4 hours before drinking. Inky purple color. Perfumy nose. Notes of anise, black currants and leather. Full bodied with firm tannins. Not over the top and really well made. Excellent. 98 points.

Great note. What’s the ABV? And was there sediment left in the bottle? My guess is no . . .

15.9% alcohol but it was well integrated and not hot at all. Little to no sediment.
