    A punchy nose of dried flowers, menthol, black pepper and raspberry. The palate is savoury and full of tangy red fruits. There's a touch of leather and plenty of earth. It is still relatively compact but really lovely, with each sip unlocking something interesting. It is elegant, understated and has real energy.

Thanks for the check in, Jeremy. I really love this vintage of Gonon. In my own internal ranking, granted these are all still babies, I sort of put it in second place after the 2010, for wines from this estate over the last 15 years.

Cheers Robert. There is a real purity to this '13. The '10 has a bit more richness.
