TN--2013 Albert Grivault Meursault Perrieres

This was a lovely bottle of chardonnay. Popped and poured, quite a bit of floral–lilac and hibiscus—waft up the glass to merge with fuji apple and pear. In the mouth, pear and even peach fruit make themselves known, and while this is not as driven as some Perrieres I’ve had, nervosite is still subtly present. Matched with turbot in beurre blanc sauce, the matching elevates the fruit profile considerably, adding sweet lime to the mix. A lovely bottle of chardonnay, drinking extremely well right now.
