    I believe this wine was raised in giant old redwood casks, possibly decades old. Yellow green straw colored. Nose of mineral, flowers and bruised apples. The palate enters with crisp apple, and stone, then some zippy acidity unfurls. Finish adds some florals and a touch of vanilla to the chorus, and the aromas linger ever so lightly. What a wine. Old Stony Hill, I already miss you. (93 points)
