2012 Soliste Cellars Pinot Noir Solitaire - USA, California, Sonoma County (10/20/2018)
Magnum at a friend’s daughters wedding. 43 cases made. I believe this is the first year this wine was produced. Aged for 28 months in new oak. 50% whole cluster pressing. 2nd time I have had this and it has been excellent both times. Ruby red color. Bright fruit with notes of cranberry, wet earth, light oak and some spice on the finish. Very lively and a style I really enjoy. 94 points.
