TN: 2012 Sojourn Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard Sonoma Coast

This was a nice wine but I’m still a bit on the fence about getting more when there are so many nice wine opportunities. It was good - maybe i’ll still pick up a few. [cheers.gif]

750ml; PnP with dinner. Semi-opaque crimson red color, no bricking. Medium tight nose of Mama’s cherry-pie with red licorice turning very slightly anise. Flavors of red and black cherry, currants, licorice, and spice. Flavors linger well with yummy bright sour-cherry mouth watering acidity taking hold after 10 or more seconds. Good body - tannins are small and mild-medium. Nicely done but still slightly young. Try again in 1-2 years. (91 pts.)
