TN: 2012 Kelley Fox Momtazi Vineyard Pinot Noir

The oldest of a vertical purchased during Berserker Day. Tasted at home with a Chinese stew and a Warf-centered episode of ST DS9.

The appearance shows sediment, ruby with purple trails. An almost imperceptible nose: mineral, a hint of tobacco, chocolate. An autumn forest morning, crunchy leaves under fresh dew. In the mouth, the minerality intermingles with berry. My partner tasted underripe strawberry at the front of the mouth. For me, dry with lively acids. Mild tannins. Lingering pear in the finish. After, the sense of having eaten a crisp red apple. An alluring wine.
