2012 Giacomo Conterno Barolo Cerretta - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo (12/22/2022)
A nose of iron, rose petals, mint, ginger and cherry. The palate is tight at first, but gathers sweetness at the core with air. It has fleshy fruit over chewy structure. The finish is quite stony, cool and long. Great purity and balance here.

Where do you see it in its evolution, Jeremy? I quite liked many 2012s, but haven’t opened one in a while.
Hi John,
in a really good spot now but with plenty in the tank. I have had a few high end '12’s this year and I love how the vintage is showing now. Far more accessible and pleasurable than '13’s at the moment and a vintage that many overlooked on release.
Best Regards
Jeremy
