2011 Le Cadeau Pinot Noir Équinoxe

Not decanted. Very little sediment. 2011 was a lighter vintage in Oregon. Minerally with cranberry and pomegranate notes. I thought this was a little out of character from the many other wines that I have had from this estate. I previously had the 2008, 2009 and 2012 vintages and liked all of them better. 87 points.

Wow! I haven’t heard of them for like 20 years. I remember liking their wine quite a bit.

After drinking this one, I still have 7 bottles in the cellar spanning 2006-2022. They are readily available in the Chicago area.
