2010 Maison Bleue Syrah Liberté Boushey Vineyard - USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Yakima Valley (11/13/2016)
Dark ruby with a savory cherry nose. Dry tart medium fruit and body, lovely balance of fruit and acid with chewy tannins. Tart cherries with an earthy, slatey element. Drinking very well now with another five years of up side. Another night and we have liquid velvet, a little olive brine to liven the cherry fruit. Did I say smooth, yummy. It must be the change in seasons, but this is just super good on a cool evening. (95 pts.)
