TN: 2010 Louis Jadot Corton-Pougets Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot

I believe that Jadot Corton-Pougets is grown side by side to to their Corton Charlemagne and could be classified as such if it was planted to Chardonnay. Basically it’s a Red Corton Charlemagne, if I’m not mistaken.

I always found the Jadot information pretty informative among many domains. Here is the info for both Pougets and Corton-Charlemagne. I also always found Jadot’s CC one of the best.

I have a group of friends who really don’t like Corton in red for no apparent reason.
I think they are just drinking the wrong wines.

I know some don’t like Corton but you should.

Who doesn’t like Corton?

This! Not all, of course, but there are plenty that have a much better quality/price than many CdN wines.

This even more true than it was a few years ago. Prices for reds in the CdB haven’t escalated at the same rate.
