I’m becoming increasingly enamored with Lamy’s Saint-Aubins.
They don’t (yet) break the bank and are eminently pleasurable drinks.
Thanks, Robert!

2010 Hubert Lamy Saint-Aubin La Princée - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Saint-Aubin (11/12/2013)
Crisp, cool, clean. Green apple and edgy acidity. Lively. Lemony. Pure. Tasty. Some power in reserve.

Now in my top 5 white producer.
And rightfully so. Huge fan of these wines.
They were great until a few years ago and then they became quite pricy, albeit excellent wines.
$50+ for village St Aubin? Really?
Dennis,
I have all of them in 2010 and 2011. Lots to try out when I can get back in town.
BTW, they are worth $50.
D
I do like them a lot, but I’ve been passing north of $40 as they simply lose their value badge for me at that point. Luckily, they end up going on sale often because the ask is now so steep they can’t move them. I just scored some of their single vineyard St. Aubins for $29 per, which is a very good deal and well worth it. ![highfive [highfive.gif]](/uploads/db3686/original/2X/d/db21b9263a9105e51f6f8b11e61dd4de095611f9.gif)
Agreed Don. OK they’re expensive for St Aubin, but I would rather drink them than more expensive Chassagnes, Pulignys and Meursaults from many, many producers.
Thanks for all the comments, guys.
I think the Lamy wines are relatively good values (in the context of Burgundy) and Robert Panzer had some nice futures prices on the '10s and '11s. I think Kent is getting at it in his post.
I’ve only had very young Lamy, curious about aging. Time will tell…
Don- been a while. Let’s drink some soon!
I’ve had many premox by around the 6-7 year mark, though certainly not all, and those are nice bottles. Never had one more than 10 years old.
