TN: 2010 Chateau Paveil De Luze Margaux

Disclaimer: I purchased the bottle at Costco in West Fort Worth for $27.99. It spent no time in the back of my Honda Pilot and none will be offered on www.winebid.com.

Bottle opened and poured into a captain’s decanter for four hours of aeration. Consumed with a charcuterie plate for dinner.

Nose of raspberries, mint and a tinge of olives in brine. On the palate, a light dose of oak (per website 30% new oak per vintage), medium tannin, red fruits and a slight dose of anise/licorice. Very well integrated at such a young age and plays well with dry coppa and manchego.

Highly recommended for short to mid term enjoyment at the price point.
