TN: 2010 Biggio Hamina Cellars Pinot Noir Zenith

Disclosure, Todd Hamina gifted me this bottle for my lucky guessing in our fantasy Tour de France league. Perhaps I should add one more point for the sweet taste of victory.

Well done, Todd, awesome wine. I’ve been on a kick to support my local wine retailers–any idea who carries this in SoCal?

Very pure expression of PN, with the elegance that the best Oregon wines offer. Cool and clean when you first taste it, the fruit (more strawberry than cherry to me), the spice comes on in the mid-palate and on the finish. I got a really interesting hit of menthol/mint bouquet that just gently permeates the nose as you’re swallowing. Loved this, and think I need to buy some more to age for a few years. (93 pts.)

Thanks! I’m not in CA as I don’t know anybody. Am open to suggestions though.

I had this wine a couple of times and thought it very nice. Good value for Oregon Pinot. And I paid for it.
