2009 Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon - Australia, South Eastern (9/5/2010)
The nose is all glorious musk and overly scented shampoo. The palate initially tastes of salt, saline, and more overly scented shampoo. It glides across the tongue more easily as time goes on and as it opens up before me. The mouth feel is viscous after about 15 minutes of study and attention. It slowly builds in viscosity and it begins to engorge in my lips after 20 minutes. It reaches its final climax and flails in its disjointed frenzy lasting for at least one minute. Overall a most satisfactory experience that should be enjoyed now. Note I have experienced extreme bottle variation. (99 pts.)
