2009 WillaKenzie Estate Pinot Noir Aliette - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (3/30/2014)
Light/medium ruby, light red berry nose. Clean dry with just a hint of mineral. Red currant, slightly tart with bitter, all of a subtle nature. On barrel sampling this had a strongly floral aroma that for me has dissipated. The light fruit is dominated by the acid, very balanced and smoothly drinking, light tannins on the finish. This is good stuff and drinking well with or without food. No need to decant, good on the PnP. (91 pts.)
