2009 Patrick Piuze Petit Chablis - France, Burgundy, Chablis, Petit Chablis (10/28/2010)
Of course very young…but what strikes me first is the creaminess and weight of this Petit Village wine…wonderful soft and balanced creamy and somewhat oily feel…holding the lemon/lime citrus, melon balls, crushed stone well. Simple complexities…little raw peanut and white florals as well…but nice easy drinking, refreshingly clean Chablis…that should be at its best in the Spring. Good start to my first Piuze! (90 pts.)
