2009 Lazy River Vineyards Pinot Noir- USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Yamhill-Carlton (12/7/2014)
PnP. Drank over several hours with H. Paired with salmon, Beeville ham, and crackers. Wow, this is still quite young. Thick tannins dominate, but you can certainly appreciate some good smoky fruit. I’ll wait another year for the next. (90 pts.)
My notes from last summer:
8/3/2014 - I LIKE THIS WINE: 91 Points
Medium garnet, light cherry nose. Medium dry with soft fruit, light acid and tannins. Cherries with a bit of stone fruit tannins. Easy drinking, soft mouthfeel. A little on the more fruity side, less acid than I personally prefer, but a good wine for those seeking a mid fruit forward wine.

Light to medium garnet, very light cherry nose. Dry, tart cherry medium fruit with a slight nutty element. Restrained in a style I prefer with a very good balance of acid on the front and tannins on the finish. Drinking great now. Picked up on close out today, and going to order more.
While I liked the '07 better for my AFWE tastes, this was a very good wine. I bought all the '07 Vinopolis had left.
