A wine that has that sappy, stalky, natural, low sulphur, juice just drawn from the crusher or press kind of feel that the likes of Gramenon and Foillard also possess. It has the ripe, creamy fruits of the vintage that counter some of the plant matter things going on quite well. It is relatively forward and low in acidity and whilst I’m not sure where it’ll head when it ages I know that I could glug my body weight of it in the wine bars around Paris with accompanying duck confit.

Pas du tout convaincu par ce vin aux notes tertiaires, acide, bourré de volatile. Pensé à un vin (en prise de risque ratée, cf. le précaire 2016 bu en septembre 2021 de Julien Guillot cuvée Auguste du Domaine des Vignes du Maynes) … ou encore à une petite cuvée de Prieuré-Roch.
