TN: 2008 Sauvion Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine

  • 2008 Sauvion Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine - France, Loire Valley, Pays Nantais, Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine (2/9/2010)
My first Muscadet. Very pale gold color. Bright lemon citrus, celery, frozen melon ball salad nose. WOW…that’s some lemons and stones! Very refreshing light citrusy wine…with nice minerals, herbs, white flowers, raw peanut. Sharp acid, slight tingle, thankfully no alc. burn, and good dryness, not sweet. Faint muscatness…more SB like. I like this! Will be even better in the Summer when the temps are 90-100’s. Best part of all…C H E A P! $7 (90 pts.)

O’Briens?

Thanks for the TN.

Stopped there the other day on my way back from SF. Assuming they still have some left, I’ll be back Tuesday night (after yet another SF trip).

Yep.

Did you get my email? Jury Duty? Thurs? Next Sun?
