TN: 2008 Linne Calodo Rising Tides (USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles)

High ABV on the label is not evident on the taste or finish. If you like the big and bold styles of the Central Coast and Paso wine makers, this is a fine example of a CA Rhone Ranger styled Syrah (50%), Grenache (25%) and Mourvedre (25%) blend. It was big and bold with enough acidic back bone to show balance. Enjoyed with beef tenderloin with a wine reduction sauce.

What Josh R says on the Tanzer site.

Thanks for the helpful TN! Can I assume that you think this wine is ready for drinking now?

It is fairly primary now but drinking well for a big wine. Will it improve with time? My experience says it might soften a bit. If you have multiple bottles, why not try one now and another in a year or two?!
