TN: 2008 J.M. Boillot Montagny 1er Cru

  • 2008 J.M. Boillot Montagny 1er Cru - France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Montagny 1er Cru (8/1/2011)
    No formal notes, drank off the list. This was pretty well put together, nose was nice, I recall floral scents and minerals and some sappy fruits. Similar on the palate with balanced acidity, good chalky fruit, decent length. Nothing special but admirable for the level and obviously striving to over achieve.

Love this stuff. In my opinion, one of the best Chards for around $20.
A great go-to white.
