  • 2008 Domaine Dublère Morey St. Denis 1er Cru Les Blanchards - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Morey St. Denis 1er Cru (6/14/2025)
    Just a hint of coffee oxidation sneaking into the aromatics. Very much red fruited, with ripe strawberries on the nose and in the mouth. Some gentle florals and fine minerality. Lacy of texture. Good acid drive and a hint of earthy development. A mid-weight wine at best, built on delicacy and perfume.

The 2014 of this is drinking pretty well right now, too.
