2008 Couvillion Equlibre- USA, Washington, Columbia Valley (9/14/2017)
Inky dark purple with a savory beef blood nose. Dry with tart bold fruit and body. Nine years of age have given some restraint on the fruit with the savory notes emerging. Sour cherries with blood, beets and rusty iron. With some open time the fruit is developing a nice chewy freshness with the acid. Just kept getting better with each day. (93 pts.)

I purchased a bottle from Full Pull back in '11 when I was starting to explore WA reds. Paid a bit more, but under $20.
I thought I should start drinking these WA reds after several years concentrating on OR PN. I was not disappointed and should have bought a case. It has aged very well.
