TN: 2008 Château Boswell Jacquelynn Cuvée Blanc (USA, California, Napa Valley)

Wow. This is excellent. Just a touch sweet fighting off the abundant acidity with a wonderful mouthfeel. Citrus, a little bit of orange…these fight through the acidity and tantalize the palate.

Not much of a white wine drinker (unless you count bubbly). This was really good. Quite the QPR compared to many of the reds in our cellar.

Awesome, thanks for the TN. I loved their 07 Cuvee Blanc and have a half case of 08s en route from Josh as we speak.

I love this wine along with the Morlet Proportion Doree (which is similar blend and both made my Luc Morlet). I had it two years ago with Josh at the winery and was blown away. I served the 2007 and 2008 Cuvee blanc at my companies holiday party this year and needless to say it was a hit.

The Boswell Chards are also top notch if you get a chance to taste them.

Agree: Had the pleasure of tasting through Josh’s lineup after a tasting with Juan from Realm.
Josh has some good whites and some very good Cabs.

When we were out in that area in October, went and tasted with Josh. Needless to say we came home with a mixed case. Chards, Blanc, and his upper end cabs.

Definitely a list we’ll buy from. Also on the Morlet list, but didn’t buy any of their whites.

Todd…If you’re on the Morlet list, you should take one of his Proportion Doree just to try it. It’s an incredible wine.

anyone popped any of the Boswell 07 cabs recently? I was surprised at RP’s relatively “low” 93 rating for the To Kalon, but I’m hesitant to pop one because he mentioned how closed it was.

Looks like they are sold out.

Lets say I want to buy maybe 3-4 bottles of their whites per year. Which would you recommend I buy every year?
